Confessions of a Photographer. Initially...the title was "insert catchy title". Confession #1...I didn't know what to write about at first, Lol. Then it hit me. To actually invite you into my world...I need to be more open. Vulnerable. Truthfully, this rebrand, renewal and refocus came after a long thoughtful hiatus.

Confession #2...I wanted to give up as an entrepreneur. I lost my passion and love for the very thing I was known for. The money didn't matter anymore, it was about the fun and livelihood I was missing but so used to. Scaling a business isn't easy, especially when aspiring to have your own creative agency. The 1st camera I used was in high school...a single lens reflex that shot manual film. I had to spend a minimum amount of time in the dark room to develop photos. I tap into that same tenacity with unwavering fortitude to see my vision come to life. I know it will. It's that time.

Confession #3...I didn't like the darkroom - at all. Seeing the picture though was the motivation. I also enjoyed the "tough love" approach our teacher took.

My alma mater (shown in the lower right corner of the photo above) was where my love for imaging was first born. I learned photography, website design on Macs and developed my creative eye while in high school.

Seeing this shot from Zayy of Team Images was a reminder for me. He's the youngest of the crew - but his passion for the craft is evident. As a visual arts major...I learned the foundation for the very services I currently offer. After being voted "Most Likely To Succeed" my senior year as class president, I realize success is a journey with many levels and you can't do it alone. In 2025 I'd like to introduce Team Images. Zayy, Tank, TD and Tyler. We here.
